San Francisco Centre, once the city’s largest and most prominent shopping mall, is set to close permanently on Jan. 26, according to an employee at the mall’s last remaining tenant.
The shutdown will bring a definitive end to a slow, conspicuous decline that accelerated after the pandemic hollowed out downtown San Francisco.
