Barring unforeseen lunacy, come November, you’ll be voting on cars on the Great Highway — for the third time since 2022. Like PAY YOUR PROPERTY TAXES BY DECEMBER 10 AND APRIL 10!!! there are some things you can apparently mark in permanent pen on your calendar. At the statewide level, you’ll be voting about kidney dialysis and, locally, you’ll be voting on this.
There figures to be a great deal of performative hand-waving from the proponents of Sunset Dunes Park about the inanity of taking this to the ballot — yes again — only two years after 54.7 percent of city voters decided this matter. Fair enough: But, in the annals of San Francisco voting, this is hardly Hall of Fame-level inanity, let alone Wins Above Replacement-level inanity…
