Oakland man busted for grand theft after pushing cart filled with stolen alcohol: PD

(KRON) — “His vehicle went from being loaded with booze to being loaded onto a tow truck headed to car jail.”

Vacaville police said an Oakland man was found to have nearly $3,000 worth of stolen merchandise last Friday after he allegedly walked out of a store with a shopping cart full of unpaid alcohol.

The suspect, identified as Jhoanthan Herreramartinez, 35, was located in front of the store by Vacaville police and quickly detained. A police search of his vehicle upturned a “large amount” of stolen items from two nearby businesses…
