Onslaught of 20 earthquakes hit US city in 90-minute span shaking homes for 100 miles

TWENTY earthquakes shook the San Francisco Bay Area on Monday morning.

At least 20 earthquakes of magnitude 2.5 or higher have been recorded in the city of San Ramon, California, with the highest magnitude being 4.2.

The earthquakes began just before 6:30 am, according to the United States Geological Survey.
