3 armed robberies in Marin result in 3 arrests, one in San Pablo and a 2 in Vallejo

On January 14, 2026, at about 2:30 pm, Novato Police Dispatch received a 911 call about a man who reported being robbed at gunpoint at his home in central Novato.

Patrol officers learned that a large sum of cash that had just been withdrawn from a Novato bank had been stolen. The suspect was described as a masked male with a black firearm who fled in a vehicle. The victim was not hurt.

Novato Detectives learned two other similar robberies had recently occurred elsewhere in Marin County, which were being investigated by the Marin County Sheriff’s Office and San Rafael Police Department. Detectives worked together to identify the suspect as 30-year-old San Pablo resident, Alexander Cunningham. The detectives wrote search warrants and conducted surveillance. They learned Cunningham conspired to commit the Novato robbery with 29-year-old Danielle Torres and 25-year-old Alexis Flores – both residents of Vallejo.
