(KRON) — One person died Sunday after a personal watercraft flipped at the Discovery Bay Marina, according to the Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Office.
The personal watercraft, commonly referred to as a Jet Ski, was carrying three people when it overturned near the boat launch of the marina around 1:31 p.m., authorities said. Two of the adults who were on board were able to swim to a nearby dock.
