Deadly Oakland mass shooting Saturday caught on surveillance video

OAKLAND, Calif. (KRON) — Surveillance video given to KRON4 News reportedly shows the chaotic scenes that erupted around a mass shooting in Oakland Saturday that left two people dead. The video, which was posted on the Instagram account West Coast Gang Wars3, provides new insight into how the violence at EZ’s Lounge in Oakland unfolded early Saturday morning.

At first, things appear normal as a crowd of people congregate around the night club. But then, shoving and pushing breaks out as it becomes clear a fight is starting.

Gunfire can then be seen erupting in the video. One person is shot and hits the floor. That person is also armed and as they are on the ground, they begin shooting in several directions.

The Oakland Police Department has identified the two people killed in the shooting as 33-year-old Latetia Bobo and 25-year-old Markise Martin. An investigation into Saturday’s shooting remains ongoing…
