Mayor Daniel Lurie sparked the altercation that led to a fight and injuries to two San Francisco police officers in his security detail, according to a police report of the incident obtained by The Standard.
On Thursday evening at 5:38 p.m., Lurie, an aide, and two members of his security team were driving north on Larkin Street when they spotted several people sitting on the sidewalk on the corner of Cedar Street, an alley in the Tenderloin.
