San Francisco police evacuated some residents in the Mission District on Sunday after officers found a “suspicious device,” prompting an investigation, officials said.
Officers responded to a report of the suspicious device around 1:36 p.m. on the 3100 block of 22nd Street, located between South Van Ness Avenue and Folsom Street, according to the San Francisco Police Department.
