A woman was injured during an attempted robbery inside her Piedmont home on Tuesday, authorities said.
A resident returning home called 911 around 12:25 a.m. to report an ongoing attempted robbery at their home on the 400 block of Scenic Avenue, according to the Piedmont Police Department. The caller told police that the front doors of the house were open and they encountered one suspect inside while another suspect fled downstairs, police said.
