A Northern California man is in custody on suspicion of killing another man with a hatchet in what appears to be a targeted act, authorities said.

David Swank Prince, 35, of Chico, was arrested on Saturday, March 21 and charged with murder in connection to the death of Christopher Jaber, 34, the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office said in a statement.
