The Cheeseboard Cheese Shop and Bakery
The Cheese Board is temporarily closing the cheese shop and bakery from March 29-April 9 to finish out the long awaited expansion into the adjacent space (formerly The Produce Center) on Shattuck Avenue. The worker-owned cooperative, which first opened in 1975, has a pizzeria – typically with long lines for their daily vegetarian sourdough crust pizzas (and their famous “green sauce”) – a cheese shop, and a bakery. During construction, the bakery and cheese shop has been operating out of a temporary shipping container. The last day that will be open before the new space opens is Saturday, March 28, until the soft re-opening on April 10.
