Paul Heggen has officially left KPIX-TV after six years as the Bay Area station’s chief meteorologist.
The award-winning broadcaster gave his final newscast Friday, April 3, during which KPIX honored him with a highlight reel celebrating his career.
“Today is my last day at KPIX. After six great years in the Bay Area, it’s time for us to move back east,” Heggen wrote in a post shared to LinkedIn and the social platform X over the weekend. “Mixed emotions as we leave: we’ve made some great friends here, and I’ll certainly miss my wonderful work family.”…
