Suspect in 2023 Pleasant Hill bartender’s shooting found guilty of first-degree murder

(KRON) — The suspect in the homicide of a Pleasant Hill bartender in 2023 was found guilty of first-degree murder Wednesday, according to the Pleasant Hill Police Department

Andre Barocio Jr. will be sentenced in June, officials confirmed in a social media post Thursday.

Police said officers responded around 1:12 a.m. on April 3, 2023, to reports of a shooting in front of Farrington’s Bar in Pleasant Hill. At the scene, they discovered the victim — a bartender at Farrington’s Bar —  identified as 37-year-old Oscar Laredo-Arellano, deceased in the parking lot from a gunshot wound. Investigators determined he had been shot after an argument.
