Authorities have arrested a suspect in connection with a violent home invasion in Piedmont last month in which a woman was assaulted, police said.
The robbery occurred just after midnight on March 24 in the 400 block of Scenic Avenue, according to the Piedmont Police Department. Officers were dispatched around 12:25 a.m. after a resident returning home called 911 to report a possible break-in in progress.
