ICE slaps hold on deaf unlicensed Bahamian arrested in Wildwood

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement placed a hold on an Orlando man who presented a Bahamian passport during a traffic stop.

Officers stopped 32-year-old Kyle Adrin Dean and a female passenger near SunStop, located at 9741 Pepper Tree Ter., around 11:40 p.m. Monday, according to an arrest report from the Wildwood Police Department.

Dean handed over a Bahamian/Commonwealth passport as identification, which dispatch used to determine he had no records in the state of Florida. Due to him being deaf, the passenger translated for him. She advised that he does not have a driver’s license, and he had been living in Orlando for the past four years, the report said…
