A Dunnellon mother is mourning the tragic loss of her 2-year-old son who drowned in his family’s pool last week, while simultaneously fighting for her husband’s release from federal custody so he can say a final goodbye.
Arturo J. Martinez passed away on Saturday, May 23, following a drowning incident at his family’s home on NW 18th Place in Dunnellon.
In the wake of the tragedy, Arturo’s mother, Kyara Martinez, has launched a GoFundMe campaign to help cover funeral expenses and to share her family’s heartbreaking circumstances.
