Ocala woman wins $1 million prize in Florida Lottery scratch-off game

The Florida Lottery has announced that Angelique Hernandez, 44, of Ocala, won a $1 million prize in the Gold Rush Legacy scratch-off game.

According to a lottery press release, Hernandez was at the Florida Lottery headquarters in Tallahassee on Feb. 5. She chose to receive her winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $640,000.
