A Wildwood man was arrested after allegedly taking a woman’s medical marijuana without permission.
A deputy responded to a disturbance in the home of 35-year-old Adam Cree Rodgers on County Road 521A in Wildwood at 10:05 a.m. Saturday, according to an arrest report from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office.
A woman reported that Rodgers had taken her medical marijuana and left the house. She had stored the marijuana inside a ziplock bag and not in a medical container, the report said.
Upon arrival, the officer found Rodgers sitting inside his white two-door Chevy truck outside the residence. He handed over the marijuana and admitted his medical marijuana license had expired. A subsequent check of his criminal history determined he had a prior guilty conviction related to marijuana, the report said…
