A 45-year-old Wildwood woman has been arrested after allegedly sending a profanity-laced card accusing the recipient of being a Nazi.
Amanda Marie French was taken into custody following an investigation by the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies were called to Coleman City Hall on March 20 after a victim reported receiving a letter that left them in “imminent fear” for their safety.
According to the arrest report, the card mailed to the victim’s home contained highly aggressive political rhetoric and specific threats. The message read in part: “We know you’re a NAZI. The flags were a dumb move. Watch your back, you FACIST [sic] cow. Remember what happened to Hitler & his fans. The same is coming for you, Trump & Bebe.”
The note concluded with a vulgarity-laden insult and was signed with the initial “A.”…
