A native of Nicaragua is facing deportation after he was caught driving without a license in The Villages.
Cristobal Alberto Garcia, 43, of Ocala, was driving a white pickup with Texas license plates at about 10:45 p.m. Friday in the area of El Camino Real and Cazares Avenue in the Village of Santo Domingo.
A Sumter County sheriff’s deputy initiated a traffic stop after noticing the pickup truck did not have operable tag lights, making the back of the vehicle “completely blacked out,” according to an arrest report.
