A villa owner in The Villages has been put on notice after a landscape bed problem.
The home at 648 Vagabond St. in the Callahan Villas in the Village of Osceola Hills was the subject of a public hearing Wednesday morning before the Community Development District 10 Board of Supervisors at the SeaBreeze Recreation Center. Gary and Jackie Lynn Salisbury have owned the villa since 2019.
A complaint was received July 25, 2025, regarding overgrown weeds, including in the landscape beds. Community Standards verified the complaint and contacted the homeowner. The property was brought into compliance in October 2025.
Another complaint was lodged about weeds at the home on June 26. Because it was a second complaint about the same violation, the Salisburys were immediately issued a notice of a public hearing. They brought the property into compliance on July 31…
