A local resident has filed a lawsuit against Epic Theatres of Ocala, claiming he sustained severe injuries after tripping over an uneven floor surface inside a movie auditorium.
Arthur Johnson filed the premises liability complaint against Epic Theatres of Ocala LLC, located at 414 SW College Road, in Fifth Judicial Circuit Court of Marion County on July 31.
According to the complaint, Johnson visited the theater on June 17 to watch a movie. When the film ended, Johnson got up from his seat to exit and allegedly tripped over an uneven floor surface. The fall caused Johnson to sustain significant personal injuries…
