A longtime local fitness company will close one of its gyms in Ocala after selling the property to make way for a new private high school campus.
Too Your Health Spa Fitness Centers announced that its Spa #2 location, which is situated at 2841 SW 20th Street behind the College of Central Florida, will officially cease operations around the end of the year.
In a letter addressing the matter, owner Fred Schweitz indicated that the property has been acquired by Capstone Academy, which plans to repurpose the commercial gym facility into a high school campus to expand its educational programs in Marion County.
According to a deed filed with the Marion County Clerk of Courts, Too Your Health Spa Inc. sold the 1.54-acre property for $1,511,250 to Z & T Partners LLC on September 9. State corporate records show that Z & T Partners LLC is registered to the school…
