Mystery is surrounding the abrupt closure of a financial services firm in The Villages.
A note has been posted on the door of Baum Financial Services at Lake Sumter Landing stating the office is “temporarily closed.” A call to the Baum telephone number offered a recording which said it is with “considerable sadness” that the Baum Financial Services offices are closing in The Villages and in Spring Hill. The recording also indicated that Baum clients will receive “letters of explanation” from the company.
Villages-News.com reached out to Baum Financial Services for comment but has not received a response…
