Florida Woman Accused of Assaulting Group of Girls Walking Home from School for Littering

Vera Casselman allegedly bumped one girl’s arm with her chest, then blocked the path of another before pushing her forearm into the third girl’s chest

An elderly woman was nabbed by cops in Florida after she allegedly shoved three teenagers walking home from school after one of them had thrown a piece of trash to the ground.

Vera Casselman, 65, allegedly walked up to the group of girls on a street in Belleview as they were heading home from the nearby middle school and said the “girl in the pink shirt” littered, according to FOX35 Orlando .

She then walked in between the young girls and bumped into one of them “intentionally,” according to an affidavit obtained by the local news station. She then refused to back up from the teens after they requested that she give them space, she then got “within inches” of the face of one of the girls.

During a heated argument, Casselman allegedly bumped one girl’s arm with her chest, then blocked the path of another teen and pushed her forearm into the third girl’s chest, according to the affidavit.
