As a resident of the Historic Side and frequent attendee of Southside pool, I have seen non-residents come to the hot tub at night. Residents of Stonecrest are the biggest violators of this as they have been removed from the pool by other residents, recreation and law enforcement. Non-residents come in all the time to only jump in the pool when Recreation Department staffers or Community Watch walk into the pool area. The other issue is the under-30 crowd that comes to Southside hot tub at night. Residents shouldn’t police the pool, but will complain, which is their right and not their job, but if residents don’t speak up, it will continue to happen.
