Missing Florida boys considered in danger after father’s ‘concerning behavior’

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Two Florida boys were reported missing Sunday and may be in danger after their father displayed “concerning behavior,” the Marion County Sheriff’s Office said.

Deputies said 4-year-old Tristan and 6-year-old Terrance Johnson were last seen when their mother dropped them off to their father at Harvey’s Supermarket on North Pine Avenue in Ocala.

The sheriff’s office said the boys’ father, 37-year-old Terrance Johnson, may have taken the boys to New Jersey. He has also stopped talking to the boys’ mother.

Deputies said a court order was filed for law enforcement to take custody of the boys and place them in their mother’s custody.

Anyone with information about the boys’ location is asked to call 911.

Marion County deputies said an Amber Alert has not been issued for the boys because the case does not meet the criteria for an alert to be sent out.
