Smalls Sliders, a fast-growing slider concept, is set to open its first location in Ocala on September 19 at 3394 SW College Rd, Ocala, FL 34474, franchisee Doug Cone told Business Debut.
This Ocala restaurant marks the beginning of an ambitious expansion plan for Smalls Sliders in Florida. Cone revealed that he plans to open 35 locations by 2030, with the next one slated for State Road 200 near the On Top of the World retirement community.
Cone’s territory covers the area north of the Interstate 4 corridor, up to Jacksonville and over to Destin. Future locations will include Jacksonville, Lake City, St. Augustine, Middleton, Destin and Crestview.
Cone aims to open the first eight locations by the end of 2025, followed by approximately five new restaurants each year until 2030.
Smalls Sliders is known for its streamlined menu featuring cheeseburger sliders, waffle fries and milkshakes. The restaurants will offer double drive-thrus and covered patio seating. Smalls Sliders units are built using shipping containers, allowing for quick installation and setup.
