A 21-year-old Ocala man has been sentenced to 40 years in prison for fatally shooting another man outside of a local convenience store in 2022. On Monday, July 15, 2024, Marion County Judge Robert W. Hodges sentenced Leandre Rashad Cox to four decades behind bars, with credit for 839 days already served.
