15 golf carts stolen from Florida golf course

TAMPA, Fla. (WLFA) — Investigators are searching for someone who stole 15 golf carts from a course in Marion County, the Marion County Sheriff’s Office announced.

The sheriff’s office said it responded to Baseline Golf Course in reference to multiple cart thefts.

On scene, investigators found someone had cut the power and taken 15 golf carts worth a total of $103,500.

One of the carts was later found in a pond.

The sheriff’s office said the investigation is ongoing.
