Ocala, FL – An 84-year-old Florida man was killed early Wednesday morning after he was struck by a golf cart driven by a 93-year-old woman.
The fatal accident occurred around 6:30 a.m. on SW 94th Street in Ocala.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a 93-year-old woman was driving the golf cart westbound when she collided with the pedestrian, who was also walking westbound on the same path.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the golf cart was uninjured.
The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
