TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) – Amid a criminal investigation, customers of West Hernando Pools and Spas, a subject of an ongoing Better Call Behnken investigation, said they are tired of waiting for answers as to why work isn’t being done on their pool projects.
James Fisher said he paid $53,000 toward a new pool but is stuck with a hole in the ground, rotting wood and rusted rebar. He said he hasn’t seen workers in more than 120 days and that the company owner gives him excuses.

Fisher said he has little hope that the company will finish his pool project.
“There’s a lot of people out there,” Fisher said. “You multiply them times me and everybody else, you’re probably talking millions of dollars.”
Customers of West Hernando Pools and Spas have been complaining to Better Call Behnken for months. Early this year, Hernando building officials suspended the permitting privileges of the pool company and its owner, Frank Bierwiler.
