A Lady Lake man has arrested on a warrant charging him with being the suspected shooter that left a 20-year-old man dead earlier this year. On the afternoon of July 8, Leesburg patrol officers responded to Overlook at Lake Griffin regarding a shooting. Upon arrival, officers observed a victim, 20-year-old James Jordan, lying in the front yard of a residence within the 2200 block of Aitkin Loop with multiple gunshot wounds. He was rendered aid until EMS arrived on scene to transport him to UF Health Leesburg Hospital, located at 600 E. Dixie Avenue, where he later died.
