A Fruitland Park man was arrested on a drunk driving charge when he was found asleep at the wheel at a popular Mexican restaurant in Leesburg. Officers responded to La Palma Mexican Grill, located at 1690 Citrus Boulevard, regarding 60-year-old Leslie Scott Stafford getting into a minivan in the parking lot after having too much to drink, according to an arrest report from the Leesburg Police Department. A manager from the restaurant called the police, asking them to check on Stafford’s well being.
