OCALA, Fla. (WCJB) – In an unfortunate update to a story TV20 first reported on Wednesday, a dog rescued after being found on the side of the road in Ocala has died. Peter Fletcher confirms to TV20, the dog, Sammy, died on Wednesday afternoon. The animal was found after being tossed from a car with a broken leg, shattered jaw, and other injuries.
