A 32-year-old man accused of stealing a motorcycle was arrested in Marion County after he allegedly led law enforcement on a high-speed chase that ended at a local residence. On Tuesday, October 1, a Marion County Sheriff’s Office deputy was in the parking lot of the Wawa located at 5726 SE Abshier Boulevard when a red Honda motorcycle was observed. A computer search of the vehicle’s license plate revealed that it belonged to a “1984 Honda,” and the deputy noted in the arrest report that the motorcycle in the parking lot appeared to be “much newer.”
