I was thrilled last year to see that the city was having a drone show versus a firework show. Unfortunately, I was unable to attend, but plan to if it is repeated this year. Fireworks are responsible for many injuries and even deaths to horses in our community. Many dogs run away and some are killed due to fireworks, and thousands of birds lose their lives when trying to find a route to safety.
