Homeless woman clings to guardrail to avoid arrest for trespassing

A homeless woman in Leesburg who was being arrested for trespassing behind a building tried holding onto a guardrail to avoid detainment. Officers responded to a building in Leesburg, located at 1340 Citizens Blvd., regarding a report of a tent or camp set up on the backside of the property around 10:08 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 31, according to an arrest report from the Leesburg Police Department. Upon arrival, they found an unidentified man and 40-year-old Lyvette Aileen King. She and the tent were present on the adjoining property of 1004 N. 14th St., the report said.
