84-year-old Villager who became homeless fined after mishap at Publix

An 84-year-old Villager who fell on hard times and became homeless has been fined following her arrest at a Publix grocery store. Jeanette Ferrell pleaded no contest this past week in Sumter County Court to charges of driving while license suspended and failure to have motor vehicle insurance. She was ordered to pay $666 in fines and court costs.
