Ocala cardiologist arrested after patient accuses him of inappropriate behavior

OCALA, FL (352today.com) – An Ocala doctor is facing serious allegations after a patient accused him of inappropriate conduct during a recent appointment.

On March 24, Officer Bellamy with the Ocala Police Department (OPD) was called to the Cardiovascular Institute of Central Florida, located on SW 20th Place, in response to a reported battery involving a physician and his patient.

OPD says that the patient, a woman in her 50s, told them that her doctor, 65-year-old Jose Jacob, made her uncomfortable by asking personal questions during the visit. They also said that she claimed that after the exam, Jacob hugged her tightly and kissed her twice without her permission…
