An Ocala man accused of sending threatening text messages to his ex-girlfriend was arrested after he allegedly threw a rock through her bedroom window.
On Sunday, March 30, shortly after 8:15 p.m., a Marion County Sheriff’s Office deputy responded to a local neighborhood in reference to a criminal mischief incident. A homeowner reported hearing a “loud boom” inside her home, and she discovered that the window in her daughter’s bedroom was “shattered with a large hole in it,” according to the arrest report.
The homeowner told the deputy that she suspected her daughter’s ex-boyfriend, Jacquan Labrent Davis, had damaged the window. The report stated that the deputy entered the bedroom where the incident occurred and observed a “large rock” on the floor that was “about twice the size of a softball.”…
