A Central Florida convicted felon is going back to jail after being arrested with a gun, ammunition, and drugs.
The Volusia Sheriff’s Office Deltona Crime Suppression Team received intelligence that convicted felon Jacob Davis was driving around with a firearm, a violation of his probation, and would have a shootout with law enforcement before he would go back to prison.
Around 3:15pm that day, a deputy pulled over Davis for traffic violations. Davis got out of the truck and the deputy detained him in handcuffs without incident.
A pat down of Davis revealed an empty holster, a knife, and two loaded .45 caliber magazines in his pockets. Law enforcement said through his open driver’s door, a loaded .45 caliber 1911 handgun was visible under the driver’s seat…
