Marion County officials voted last month to collaborate with the state of Florida’s Department of Government Efficiency next week, in alignment with its “commitment to fiscal responsibility, transparency in governance, and ongoing operational improvement.”
During its regular meeting on Tuesday, April 15, the Marion County Board of County Commissioners voted unanimously to approve a resolution supporting Governor Ron DeSantis’s Executive Order 25-44, which established the Executive Office of the Governor’s Governmental Efficiency Team (i.e., EOG DOGE).
