$60,000 settlement sought for driver struck by Ocala police vehicle

City officials will decide on a $60,000 settlement for a local resident who was injured after his vehicle was struck by an Ocala Police Department officer’s vehicle driving through the intersection of Pine Avenue and State Road 40.

The settlement will be presented to the Ocala City Council for review during its regular meeting on Tuesday, May 6.
