Leesburg woman arrested after alleged attack on boyfriend over cheating

A Leesburg woman was arrested for battery after allegedly throwing things at her boyfriend for his past of “cheating.”

Officers responded to a battery at an undisclosed Lake County residence at 8:50 p.m. Wednesday, according to an arrest report from the Leesburg Police Department. The male victim, who stood near a white 1997 Chevrolet truck, advised that he was in a verbal argument with his girlfriend of two years, 34-year-old Amber Mist Madden.

The victim suggested the argument was over his past acts of “cheating.” While arguing with one another, Madden grabbed multiple items in her general area to throw toward his face. He could not specify what exactly was thrown at him, the report said.

Once the victim was struck, Madden yelled at him to leave the residence. But she stood in front of the entrance when he tried to do so. He slightly pushed her to the side so he could leave, his right hand brushing against hers in the process, the report said…
