A battery suspect allegedly punctured a car’s tire after a woman fled with his child.

Noah Chapman Askew, 27, is facing a felony charge of battery and a misdemeanor charge of criminal mischief following his arrest Monday by Lady Lake police.

The South Carolina native knocked the mother of his child to the kitchen floor of their home during an attack, according to an arrest report. The woman took the child and fled to a neighbor’s home across the street. From that vantage point, she watched as Askew punctured the tire of her Nissan Altima which was parked in their driveway. Damage was estimated at $300.

He was taken into custody and booked on $7,000 bond at the Lake County Jail…
