More villas in The Villages could see improperly parked vehicles being towed away.
The Community Development District 2 Board of Supervisors is the latest CDD to enact stricter rules targeting vehicles improperly left at villa parking intended for Temporary Parking by villa owners and their guests.
If a vehicle is deemed to be improperly using Temporary Parking, a notice will be attached to the vehicle advising the vehicle’s owner that after 48 hours, the vehicle could be towed. CDDs have tried a variety of solutions to try to solve the frustrating problem of abuse of parking rules at villas. Signage has been tried at many locations, but in most instances, the offenders have simply ignored the signage.
