As a 13-year resident and ENJOYER of all entertainment —- professionally, casual or clubs —- provided in The Villages I strenuously object to the latest “banning” of Villages clubs from scheduled performances at the squares. First of all, Villagers create the audiences for those events. Secondly, it is Villagers who volunteer their time, expertise and finances to create, rehearse and perform for their far reaching coworkers and tenants. Thirdly, a most directly addressing the issue is owners versus corporate employers of the development. If it were not for us “OWNERS” this would not be here.
