An apartment dweller with children in her car landed in jail after running a stop sign.
Tanesha White, 36, who lives in the Lake Sumter Apartments on County Road 466, was driving a silver Honda at about 8 a.m. Wednesday when she failed to stop at stop sign in the vicinity or West Lady Lake Boulevard and South Old Dixie Highway, according to an arrest report from the Lady Lake Police Department.
During a traffic stop, an officer discovered that White has a suspended license and has been classified as a habitual offender. As of this past February, her license was suspended for 60 months.
